Just wanted to repeat my appreciation of yesterday’s course – really excellent. It was only when I was on the way home on the train that I realised just how detailed (and so useful) all the handouts are. It makes a big difference to have these after the event rather than relying on my own (scribbled!) notes: so, many thanks for all your and Nancy’s time producing those.
I did the course last year, and have found it very useful.
Also, I find the distinction beween editing and proofreading is even more blurred on the web than it is in print, so the lessons learned have been valuable whatever I’ve ostensibly been doing.
The knowledge I gained has also helped me justify certain usages to clients and I’ve also used the information to help a client develop a house style for all their related websites.
It was also thoroughly enjoyable.
Extremely enjoyable and informative. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Tutors made a very engaging pair, complementing each other in style and knowledge very well.
